is it the the 18th April? If so then it's not organised by the GT4 club it's organised by SW-CC but the GT4 club are bringing a few cars, about 10 IIRC.

 

I'm going and a few other 200sx's.

 

And WRT BHP, hopefeully less than me. LOL :D

I've got similar mods to you and am running about the same boost. My results at Thor were 291 RWHP (about 350BHP at the fly). I've not got a chip yet - probably next on my list of upgrades...

Yeah, I'd have said about 350 at the fly for 15psi.

The chip is only going to make sure your getting enough fuel in there - so it shouldn't make a huge difference (least that's what I've heard!)

No - but the fellas at Thor pointed out that it was running a bit lean towards the top of the rev range. No detonation though! Still want to play it safe...

Don't get me wrong - the chip is a GOOD idea, just won't make a huge impression on your BHP readout.

yep the chip makes sure there is enough fuel top end, and tweeks the timing to give good off boost torque while not allowing det at the top end.

Let me know how you go Steve. Seem to remember it's a pretty tame chip in yours so there might be some more in it if you want to push it.

I have similar mods to you but running slightly higher boost 16.5psi. At Thor I got 325bhp at the wheels, 390bhp at fly. So you should be a bit less than me. Hope that helps.

today resaults were

357.5 at the fly wheel

verry happy with that

highest of the day as well (there was a tasty looking evo mac but didnt stay to watch)

the guy said it was no way accurate due to spin and auto box it was only 217

which i thought was really low compared with 357.5

im lost buy all this im afraid

Seems the wheel spin story is quite common - I'm not sure how they can be sure the figures are accurate at all when that happens, but I guess someone will come on here and explain for us!
