Just won a polished plenum on ebay.

 

How much do you reckon it'd cost to get the thing fitted and how long does it take?

 

Also, my det sensor has gone. Currently has the 1Mohm resistor "fix". Is the det sensor easy to get to with the plenum off?

Errr, you have to take off the lowerintake to get the det sensor if I remember rightly. And I remember having to take a pully off the lower intake to take it off. THis means virtually taking the cam belt off.

No special reason, he just said that he had never changed a plenum before and was unsure of the cost :confused:

 

So thought I'd ask some who have done it before

As a guide you're looking at around 5 hours just for plenum removal, lower intake an extra 2, then fitting takes a bit less time. Don't forget you'll need all the small water hoses replacing under the plenum too! Oh and I'd replace the fuel lines as well ;)
