I'll post piccies of the old ones next to the new ones when I take them off. How big are the other brake upgrades that are available, such as the Skyline set up?

Nice! How big are they? That stock disk has got a few more K's left on it! Put it back on.

PMSL 330mmX35mm.

What was the damage on that setup Mike?

Yeah, I'm a bit surprised, there seem to be a few of you spending serious money on brake upgrades, when I thought the trusty old skyline option was generally accepted as the dogs danglies. (and available for around £500). So what's the idea - Vince particularly! A little bird told me yours cost a ruddy fortune!

Is that option just the discs and uses the original calipers etc ?
Mark this kit uses the original caliper and brackets to push the calipers out to accomodate the bigger disc , Chris from Get greddy is looking at doing these kits and should be nearly half the price of the 3G set up if all goes well

Well 3G charges around the £500 mark for these kits if I remember correctly , the kits do work well I have a similar kit on my car and I am very happy with it

They were £460 including EBC Red Stuff pads. The disks are also thicker which is accomodated for by using pads with less starting material.

How does using the original calipers etc compare to an AP Racing disc/caliper kit ?

Is the AP kit really worth another £1200 ?
