Bayside as in R34,or Daytona as in the new 350Z?

 

These cars were at PPS today,the Daytona is more of a purple than a blue.

The wide arch is Daytona and the SWB is Bayside

 

 

 

 

Daytona.

 

Just looks like a darker blue to me, now't like purple! (not on my screen anyway.)

 

 

thats 2 of us... now who needs to go to spec savers?? :tongue:

OI NO ONE IS SLAGGING IT OFF :tongue: this is a seriously nice motor with loads of £££££££ getting spent,when the retrim is done it will be awasome!

 

Back to the purple though LOL,compared to the bayside even Peter said it's more of a purple than a blue.

Peter obviously needs his eyes tested as well then!!! Too much time in his spray tent without goggles!!!

 

Seriously though out of the light it is definitely darker than I though it would be, but in the light (you can see a little bit on one of your photos) it shines loads brighter!!

 

Cannot wait!! Hopefuly only 3 weeks or so to go!!!

pale sky-blue -nothing comes close

Got to be said (having also seen both in the flesh) that I prefer the Daytona on the Zed. haven't seen it polished up in bright daylight on the Zed but seen it on plenty of 350's - it's not purple (or at least shouldn't be - hehe..) Best bit is the way the light picks up on the metallic flecks...

 

On the skyline- Bayside is the only way to go. :-)

 

Can't wait to see that car all put together - bring on the re-trim!

i prefer the darker one, doesnt look anything like purple from this angle tbh. Eric's bayside looks sweet though, looks darker than the other bayside blue ones though.

It's an awsome car, full WingWest body kit (polyurethane rather than fibreglass), custom DTA exhaust, headers, engine management, etc, etc.

Yep Daytone, but then the nose and wide wheels set it apart form the other car too!

 

But Black is the only shade of blue really!

LOL Probably because the other car hasn't even got a front bumper on it mate LMAO !!!

Lets face it guys it does'nt matter what the colour, its always gonna be best if its painted at PPS :D :D :D

bayside blue looked stunning on the Zeds big brother, so that's when I decided to have my Zed painted this color as well :)

I have a strange affection for the blue worn by the P1... (shame about the rest of the car, although it's better than the current shape)

 

That's probably closer to the R34 colour.
