Vibration at the rear!

Got quite a low frequency rear end vibration, feels worse when pulling away. Could this be prop shaft bearing?

It seems I need an O2 sensor (l h side), but there are two types, 3 or 4 wire. My Z is a 1990, any ideas which type I need?

I was going to say either prop shaft bearing or inner diff bearing. Could also be a knackered wheel bearing.

Put it this way.. it's a bearing of some sort :D.

'89 - '93 will be the 3 wire O2 sensor for the Passenger side. '94 + will be the 4 wire

hi guy's.i don't know if anyone can help me.i get a lot of vibration and can feel it throughout my car below 40-50mph.any ideas as to what it could be,thanks for any help.

Hi,

My symptoms were vibrations between around 30-60mph. It was also a lot worse when cold. Once warmed up you hardly noticed it. I got the prop shaft bearing replaced and it totally cured it.

But maybe worth getting your wheels balanced first, could be as simple as that.

Darren.
