What about the time Timmy Turbo caused mayhem by invading the supra forum in his usual style. the snooty supra lot didnt know what hit them and were greatly offended especially when he asked the girls on there if they were real girls or "chicks packing dicks".

He was promptly banned and there was threats of violence between Tim and Branners if i remember correctly :D :D

its great to see that my simple question has brought the memories flooding back for you lot........however all of what has been discussed means nothing to me (as i only joined last year) but hopefully when i have kids and they go on to buy a RELIABLE 300zx i will have many stories to tell them of the forum.....until then i will just read your posts and imagine how you guys must have felt (for most of you that may probably be the feeling of excessive alcohol).........keep up the good work!

I can remember the early days, put a post on the bravenet forum then check back after 3-4 days to see if anyone had replied.

That was Nico`s forum, Craig developed this one then contacted Nico to talk about joining forces as the Bravenet one was on borrowed time.

I remember the Nottingham meet well, freezing cold with a turnout of about 12 Z`s, DaveW spent most of the time in my car watching Liverpool on the TV, Hairsy was the daddy as he had 18`s on his(very rare in those days)

To this day, despite building a forum i don`t actually think Craig and Nico ever met, could be wrong!

 

As for being here the longest, apart from DaveW and Hairsy, you`re all Newbies !!!!

Incidentally, I used to have an interest in an internet company some years ago - before I went back to real work! We bought our own server and sold space. I'm no longer involved, but it's still out there, running very fast and cheap as chips

When I joined in November 2002 (I think that's when it was), people volunteered a subscription of £20 to support the forum and help meet costs. I remember telephoning Craig to arrange it. Never met him but he was a good guy who the club owes much to.
