Hello all, I have just taken some readings from my throttle position sensor and wondered if any of you could confirm wether my problem is the sensor itself or the wiring leading to it, going into the side I have white/red 0v green/red 11.9v and white/black 0v, coming from the bottom I have Black 0v white 0v red 0v and moving the sensor itself made no difference to any reading, car symptons are that when slowing down for corners it sometimes dies on me, the car itself is a 1990 n/a automatic, cheers Richard.

Easy way to tell if it's your TPS mate. Disconnect it and drive it around. The car will still run, albeit not as well. If the problem goes away, buy a new TPS. If it doesn't, you're looking in the wrong place.

hi, u managed to solve the problem? if not, do check on your Power Transistor Unit... Nissan had some recall on the pre93 PTUs... Typical symptoms of a failing PTU are instant stalling, uneven idling etc) u could check http://www.aus300zx.com/ under the "Tech column - Moving PTUs"
