Nothing to worry about mathew its probably just a cambelt tensioner siezing up :x: only jokin lol, tho it happened to me once in an alfa sprint - shredded the belt to bits !

Does it do it stationary so u can locate it a bit? like give us a clue what area?

Hi Matt

Is it actually coming from the engine or could you be hearing it through your speakers?

I get a whistle which is quiet or loud depending on throttle position, but it goes when I turn the stereo off!

It's been suggested here that I have a bad earth connection somewhere in the hi-fi wiring, but I still haven't fixed it yet

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

its defo the engine and it will not do it unless you are moveing! its driveing me mad!

If it only does it when you are moving sounds like it is boost related!

Sounds like it could be the turbo's?

Dont know if that helps though!
