Does anyone know if it's possible to get hold of touch-up spray paint for imported Z's? I have a dark metallic grey z from '90. Does Nissan stock it, or Halfords maybe?

I am sure Nissan can get those touch up pens.

I was thinking more of a spray - I fancy doing up the base of the bumpers a bit

Jock got Halfords to mix up a matching colour spray for his import. Not sure what he gave them (chassis no etc..?) but I'll ask him to reply to this thread when he's on later...

Any good car paint shop can mix the colour if you give them the code. I have done it a few times.

Thanks guys - great help :)

I wanted some spray for my import 300 which is an unusual colour.

i had no faith in Hlafords as the stuff they gave me for my 200SX was terribly wrong.

I got Brown Brothers motor factor to make up an aerosol from the paint code. It was a perfect match but it was £15-ish.

Nissan had no idea what the paint code was and didn't seem interested in helping.

Hi Craig - are they in Eastbourne?

Hi Craig - are they in Eastbourne?

They're in north Cambridgeshire!

But I thought they might be a national chain.

If not, I'm sure a decent motor factor could mix up some paint for you. But I wouldn't recommend halfords though.

Agreed. Had enough of Halfords really - they're fine for saxo's and 106's, but not for anything decent.

I'm sure there's a Browns Brothers in Eastbourne....I'll make some calls. Thanks again mate.
