Apparantly the welding across the middle of the car is standard from the factory!!!!!!!

In general, all UK cars had leather. But there are a few without it, JAY300ZX has one!

I suppose if the person who bought it new didn't like leather (there are some) then he/she may have specified cloth.

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Strange  ,I have the origonal UK brochure and the only thing it says as (COST OPTION) is 4 speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with lock-up torque converter.

I thought it was standard.

I thought all UK ones where 2+2, Twin Turbo, T-Top and leather

Mines a UK spec TT and does not have leather, leather goes crap anyway after so many years. My cloth is still emmaculate, and dont stick to your a$$ when its hot

LOL Immaculate hession how nice

But on the other side, leather doesnt really stain. Any fag ash, sweat or anything will soak into cloth while leather it wont and you can wipe it with a damp cloth to clean it.

I think Mike Groves is correct, Jay's car is a series 1 with cloth seats and trim, mine is a series 2 with leather and alacanter (spelling  )

Mmmm.. Mine's a '93 UK (series 2?) but it didn't have leather or a leccy driver's seat! It had leather put in before I bought it but I did think it was supposed to be standard.

Weren`t they all built in japan? :slap:

I dont think that all cars have the leather as standard. I thought though that it was just some cars in '91 had the cloth and leather was standard otherwise. Mines a '90 series one and has an electric leather drivers seat and a leather passenger seat. I also think that dual electric and heated seats only came with the series II. Does anyone know how difficult it is to heat the seats? Check out AndyP's website. There is some good info about this on there.

Ivan

I thought I had already said something about leather/cloth on uk models!

My Z is uk TT 91, not a ringer, or two cars & all uk Zs are not leather!
