Haqs anyone fitted a baby seat in the rear of yer Z. My baby is 10 months and being a jap import its a nightmare using the front seat because of the door seat belts. If so what model as most I have seen are too large.

My baby is not a jap import.. Gotter be quick around you smart arses...

Im not sure but thaught i would answer anyway buy an Vauxhaull cavalier lol or get rid of the baby

I had no problems fitting a baby seat in the back of my zed for my little girl. The one I bought at mothercare was made by Graco and was quite easy to install. Are the rear seat belts different in an import to a uk spec car?. There was a lot of choice when I looked to by one.

from what ive seen the UK ones have f ull 3 point type belts in the back, where as the japs have only lap belts. But the seats are so small I thought they would be suited to a baby!

I GOT A BRITAX FROM MOTHERCARE ITS A BIT OF A SQUEEZE BUT IT FITS. MINE IS A UK CAR

Yeah, you certainly can't fit any bigger type of person in them =)

 

Clarkey, my jap import 2+2 has 3-point belts - maybe its something that changed over the years. Also, Trussy, my front belts are on the B-pillar, not the door... I thought only american Z's had them on the doors!

they all had them in the door till they got changed im not sure when 94 i think

Mines a late '92 series II and I have 3 point belts in the back and front belts mounted on the pillars.
