First bit of advice, go around and tighten up all your fuel line clips.......if you fancy a change and want to get rid of all the fuel lines go buy a braided fuel line kit fro Smithy in the traders section, much, much better than the stock offering!!! (looks good too!) ;)

Second bit of advice, I would imagine that even with power steering the Z steering at idle would be loads heavier than if you were moving!! Plus if the car is stationary why would you want to turn?? ;)

Matty.

If that petrol goes up she'll be a pop idol :-)

Have u checked all the little pipe connections?

Is the steering just heavy at idle coss youre not moving? Its progressive power steering so is it ok when u get moving again?

sorry if im stating the obvious, might help :-)

Are you talking about after a blast at high revs (and boost) - cause your car might be over fuelling - there's quite a few options on here if you do a search

the last bit of my journey is through a very tight road. with the car moving with just brake off the stearing becomes very heavy i.e 1 thousand revs at 10 mph.

I'll go and have a look at the fuel pipes now. thanks for all your help.
