Hi,

 

Having eventually got my Zed I am now after sorting out the ICE.

 

I would love to fit get my 12 inch boxed sub in the boot but looking at the depth in there I don't think it will ever go in without it getting in the way of the blind

 

Has anyone got any ideas or examples of the best way to shoe-horn a sub in.

I have to bear in mind that I can't just build a smaller box as subs require a certain size box depending on spec etc.

Dont get me wrong mac i know focals are superb speakers but they are hard to set up, the box needs to be perfect for the best results and with the zed's boot that is very difficult. Plus they arnt the cheapest speakers in the world!! it all depends on what sound you want, i wanted deep & punchy bass so good 10's work well, if you want bass that can kill you :dance: then focals are the way :D Wouldnt it be nice to have a big boot to put a couple of 18" focals in

i had 2x12s in my boot but sold em and just bought 2 vibes 10".

you can get everything in the boot real easy i got some nice rare 13'' focal subs in the back along with the amps ps2 dreamcast dvd player and cd autochanger and it still looks the *****x although i was in sq+ today pricing up a possible new install as a guy is on his way up from cardiff to buy mine as i write....cost of new install is dearer than the new z i am buying
