The Japanese Auto Extravaganza 2004 is deffinatly on

there have been a couple of hiccups after last years event that are now sorted

No one has come forward to take over the running of the show from me and it has now been decided as the show is so big that the only way to carry on is to use the services of a dedicated events company and this has now been done and it is all systems go

will post up updates and contact numbers as they become available

date for 2004 is the weekend of July 25/26 :hyper:

Don't want to put the cat amongst the pigeons, thanks for negotiating a discount, but a two pound saving over a weekend is hardly worth the clubs aggrovation of organising it!

 

The venue isn't going to be sold out and as you know, it will help you and the aquadrome to make more money and make it a more satisfactory event, if you encourage people to prebook by bigger discounts!

So I send of me 28 squid for the platinum ticket, drive up to the normal entrance and then drive down to the 300zx stand. presumably there will be people around that can tell where to park on the 300zx stand. Then set the tent for the weekend ?

 

Will there be a list that I need to be added too to park on the stand ?

If you want to order advanced tickets can 1 person coordinate it for all of you? The logistics of doing 10,000 tickets makes it prohibitive otherwise.

On the official JAE order form it has a section for individual cars, but the tickets get sent to the clubs address wherever that may be and the club is then to distribute the tickets.

 

All sounds too complicated. Think I'll just pay on the gate.

 

Is that how most are doing it? If there is a way of simply ordering tickets in advance, I would be interested as this allows you to use the fast-track entrance rather than queuing with the many.

No. The official forms are for clubs and traders. The application is in two parts - trade stand or club stand, and entry tickets. You cannot order entry tickets without ordering a traders plot or a club stand.

So you is co-ordinating this event for this forum please? Reason I will like to know what is the format for member booking a place.

BTW Danny from DTA mototrsport will doing conzult readings there at a cost of £15 per car. This is to be confirmed by Danny, bookings payments and reservations will taken ONLY at Billing!
