Can anyone help me, i am trying to find some new 18 inch five spoke wheels which fit my 300zx tt 94 import. i've spoken to lots of different wheel companys and they cannot tell me a definate yes weather they will fit due to the wheel not clearing the brake caliper. It has turned in to a nightmare. My budget is up to £1000 for wheels and tyres. if anyone has wheels like these on there car could you tell me the make and model and where they came from.

thanks.

Do you like any of the Azev range? If you do then ring John at DT Motorsport on 01708 630528. They are maybe cheaper than you think.

It will be a bit of a struggle though to get decent rubber aswell for a grand.

I know Goeff swears by WHEELMANIA, they certainly do alot of wheels with good tyre packages but I got a little mucked around by them, unlucky maybe - so give them a go.

Hi Matt

With 18" as long as you get the right offset they should clear your brakes no probs, i find it strange that a wheel place wouldnt know that??

You should be able to get some alloys for a grand but like james said maybe not with the best of rubber, my advise would be break the bank and get some F1's, they will last longer and handle a hell of alot better, well worth a couple of hundred extra

Wheelmania have wheels suitable for the Zx - that's where mine are from. Nice designs, reasonably priced and good service.

Cheers,

Geoff.

Thank for your help, will give them a call.

Hi Matt

I second James' advice re DT Motorsport (call John or Dave)

They are the sole importers of Azevs to the UK so the price they give you is what all other traders pay before adding their own mark-up. Therefore you get a good deal.

The guys know their stuff and are very helpful. Also you get the wheels direct from the factory in Germany, specially drilled and machined to fit your Zed. With new wheelnuts and free locks.

I bought Azev As in 8x17 & 9.5x17 with 235/45/17 & 255/40/17 Goodyear F1s for £1000 all in, including delivery :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

i can also recommend wheelmania, good wheels and tyres at realistic prices and they fit fine..

Do wheel mania answer emails? I emailed them 4 days ago asking for a quote and they have yet to reply.

i would try ringing its more useful and quicker.. I used the Leicester store, there are several stores though..

You can order them over the phone. I used the Leicester branch - but ordered them from the bloke's exhibit at Max Power. Excellent service. If you can go for Toyo Proxes, brilliant tyres.

Geoff.
