Them 350Z types are quick at normal speeds you know

Had real trouble getting away from my first 350Z siting yesterday. Woman driver, baby seat in back with kid. Kept going until it was clear she was not going to win (110mph) and even then made a point of sticking as close to my rear as she could manage.

Pi$$es me off.......kid in car and she was trying to race a REAL ZED. I really hate people at times

Nice to she was thinking about the safety of the child driving at that speed. Also like to know how there is a baby seat in the back when it is a 2 seater.

Forgiveness applied for.......I must have been misataken as to the position. I was just so appalled and remain at least a little appalled at myself for putting my foot down a bit.

Jen and I do not have kids yet but even while she and our DOG are in the car I take things a damn site more sanely.

Just couldn`t believe it that's all. Good point Stu but you get my point, yeah?

Im not implying anything towards you. You are not responsible for the actions of other people. I just find is amazing how people will try to show off with at that speed when there is a helpless baby in the back. Nice to see the this country is no longer as irrisponsible as it once was.

I actually wondered if the UK Z had a 2+2 Option when you mentioned the back seat ;)

Its hard to tell where some on is sat when you go whizzing past it ;)

No 1. son used to love going fast in my old TR7v8 DHC - it became my wifes car during the latter stages of the pregnancy (company car taken back) and then she used it as a daily driver until he was one.

She is a safe driver and was never a danger to herself or the boy.

I've always thought that if you have to change your driving style drastically when you have passengers in the car then prehaps you should review your style. :p

Er.. Edit - Gosh this all sounds a bit anal, sorry.

If you two were the only people on the motorway (or even dual carriageway if it had good visibility), and you had an escape route planned at all times, then you were probably safer than when negotiating the average roundabout!

If you were doing that on an A-road then :slap:

I still want to know why there are so many 50 limits on trunk roads with no side turnings and no street furniture or houses, when you also have 50 limits on twisty A-roads lined with houses!

Mobile speed camera yesterday set up just before the slip road onto a motorway - so everyone was looking at the camera and panicking instead of concentrating on merging. ESPECIALLY since the limit was 50 on the road and you'd need to get to 65 or so to filter on. Actually made it quite difficult for a wussy car.

Bloody great, well done there to Chief Constable of N Yorks.

LMFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFAO in a section called "Road Kills" and you're bleating on about road safety.... oh the irony :D;) But yeah, doin that with a kid in the car is rediculous, if not slightly insane?

True. :D But the point is you can drive quickly without much additional risk, so the two aren't entirely incompatible.

Or the reverse... nothing more annoying following someone at 5mph under the speed limit who think slow = safe, and then they don't spot pedestrians, they're always in the wrong lane, they don't indicate, and one of their brake lights is out. Or they drive all the way through the NSL at 55 and then drive straight through the 30 at... 55.

You're right though there's plenty of risks I take when it's just me that I wouldn't take if I had a passenger, age of passenger irrespective!

And finally... tt's completely insane getting into a sprint when you've got all that extra MASS in the car.

Don't need a baby seat just strap 'em in with the targas. ;)

Come on Zevans

Stop bleating about road safety all the time man. It does you good to be recless from time to time. I'd rather live a short life and have fun, than a long boring one.

Before you say thats O.K. but what about the poor innocent parties you might kill.

Well if you spent all your time thinking of them you'd really get depressed. Sorry you've got one shot at life so you either live it or spectate. So come on man roll ya sleaves up and join the party  :hyper:  :hyper:

too right.

No Mate it does not do you good to be reckless from time to time, ask the people I cut out of cars

Oh the irony, I was one of the few who voted for "tyres only last 5000 miles" in my likkle poll. :)
