Nice one bud,looking at it again the ZX was well pulling away,sorry 350Z owners i cant see how you can keep saying its quicker over a 1/4,i think Nissan were not maybe truethfull in there performance times etc,:D :dance: :dance: :dance:

As soon as the twin tubs kicked in it was bye bye 350Z..........

 

But even so it was close until the twin tubs kicked in, so the 350Z isn't 'lots' quicker as I have heard spouted.........

 

It was similar performance and then...........whoooosh..........bye bye 350Z! (repeated to make the point!)

 

I shall now take one on.........if I can find one!! :D

Hmmm... Well.

 

They BOTH get bad starts... note camera angle means you can't really see the 350 launch. And there's only a car length in it. So that's 7 or 8 yards out of 352. (1/5 mile). I'd say the whole thing was neither complete nor conclusive!

 

Plus there's no way a new Peugeot lump should ever beat a 1.9 Gti hero...

Plus the fact if the race was longer the 300ZX would have pulled further ahead going off the fact it came from behind and was pulling infront all the time

 

It won by 2 cars lenghts in the end.
