Jesus christ mate - I nearly had an epileptic fit watching that video. What was the slight change in colour all about? What have I missed?

They're EL dials which can change between six colours by a switch :)

I dont mind getting some fancy lights like those but im not sure ill be able to concentrate at night with all those lights going off.

Hi Fas,

 

Lights going off??, no mate you set the colour and brightness to what you want via 2 switches. I know people in the US have used the switches on the right hand side control pod (that are normally used for the dash brightness controls) to control the clock lighting.
