Rev Jump

Recently when my zed is started from cold it jumps rpm. For example I could be in 3rd and I accelerate from about 3000 rpm, it jumps to about 4000rpm and then back to about 3500 rpm. I feel a little extra power surge when it does this, but why?

Cheerz!

Auto or manual ?

Could be a number of things but if it's only when it's cold then it's likely to be temp sensor related.

Run an ECU diag to see if it comes up with anything obvious.

If not, then clean the connectors on the temp sensor, CAS, tps, coil packs and may also be worth giving the Trottle bodies a clean.

Then reset your ECU and let us know if it is still happening.

Agree with Stuart!!

Dodgy connection on the temp sensor, clean it up and that should sort it.

Did the trick for me!
