Fog Light Switch

I have an aftermarket fog switch , which did have 3 wires going into it.

I took the switch out to do something and for the life of me can't remember which wire goes to which connector spade, I thought I did it right but keep blowing the light fuse when I turn it on

Its a 6 pin connector numbered 1-6 , pins 3 and 6 are not in use so what wire would go to what number ie earth to 4 , live to 2 etc

Getting hacked off with replacing fuses :(

Any help appreciated as always

Ryan

Should be :

12V with inline fuse

illumination i.e. another 12V

Earth

If this makes no sense let me know and I'll rig up a switch to a light bulb and a 12V battery and take a few pics

Cheers Stuart,

Sorted now just found it easier to re-wire it last night and all is well

Thanks
