Is there anyone in the Slough area that knows of a good garage for servicing?

Also i am needing new front brakes and pads to fit under standard alloys and trying to find out what ones are best.

Bazz - no idea, but whereabouts in Slough are you? I drive a grey G reg TT (and live in Slough).. Passed a black J reg today, wasn't you was it? (There's a white one I know of round here too..)

Alright mate im over in Maplin Park, Langley. I drive a blue K plate TT. Only lived here a short time and dont really know any decent garages. I used Johnny at grasshopper who is fantastic for parts and servicing but at the moment is just to far away.

From memory (which is crap!) that's not that far from me - Cippenham, quite near the Asda.. Have to meet up some time and swop horror stories wink.gif

Steer clear of the main dealer in Slough - I forget what they're called - but if they couldn't fault find my 89 F Bluebird I had a few years back, I very much doubt they could cope with a Z!

Sure thing! I used to stay next to Asda in cooper way and have already had dealings with the main dealer.I decided to stay away from them when it took them an hour to believe me that my expansion tank had a leak in it and then told me it would take over a month to source a new one!! Do you have Kahn RSR's on your's as i seen one in asda with these.

Bazz - nope, standard alloys (of which the rears are on backwards.. smile.gif ).. In fact it's totally standard (at the moment wink.gif )..

If I find anyone competent on these cars round here I'll let you know..

At the minute it looks like I'll be doing all the maintenance myself though..

Darren, Darren, Darren he's worth the journey - used him just once so far, but seems like an honest bloke (first I've met from a main dealer in a long f'in time)

Get some EBC Green Stuff / Red Stuff (if you drive that bit harder). Superb braking...especially when coupled with a set of Tarox G88 discs...which all fit under standard calipers.

I'll post a picture of mine later (when I eventually finish work)

Greenies are about £52+VAT and rears about £12+VAT (standard Nissan part)

Can totally recommend EBC Greensleeves at the front, good stoppage and not too much evil brake dust smile.gif

Print this out: http://www.ttzd.com/tech/brakestech.html

and do the job yourself, its easy.

All the best m8,

About £70 (pounds sterling). I'm not sure if they should be much more than that mail order though....Since my brother knows our local EBC rep, and (in theory) got them cheaper! (Hmm, I'm curious now smile.gif )

The discs I got from: http://www.elitedirect.com/

I have my Zed serviced here;

They supplied mine 3 years ago and do all my services. I'm very pleased with the service.
