Hi guys,

looking for some advice on alternators, mine decided to stop working over the weekend with a bang, i have taken it apart and found a burnt out voltage regulator, which hasnt been a problem to replace, but, the rectifyer is also breaking down, and thats a problem because, it seems, no one can supply a replacement. i have been told to buy a new one, but i dont want to break too deeply into my manual box conversion money, can anyone help???

that price you gave, was that for a rectifyer?, and, how much can you supply a new alternator? that will obviously come with a better warrenty than my own, round the corner special!!!!

Hi again Shunter, that was for a complete alternator (used ) in good order just bolt straight on.
