Since there seem to be a lot of people backing out of track time at Trax, I was wondering if any of you had a spare helmet that you could lend me. I've still not managed to get one sorted and it's drawing very close. If I don't get one sorted by next weekend, I'll have to buy one frown.gif

Cheers,

Andy

Buy the cheapest piece of crap you can find if your not using it on a bike. Remember you cant fall off a car smile.gif

unless your sitting on the roof

Have you ever tried sitting in your Z with a helmet on ?

If you're a bit tall like me, you probably have to leave the driver t-top off, otherwise you will no longer fit in the car..lol

does anyone know where to get specially shaped t-tops perhaps ? wink.gif

How much is a cheap helmet then?

I had a last resort idea to go and rent one from a Karting place or something. Maybe a good idea.

You can get a cheap brand helmet near me for £49 and its type A approved which is the highest safety approval anyway so its all you need for car use.

Paul

Hi,

Do you remember what the shop is called?

It was one of the bike shops in Newcastle but any bike/accesory shop will be able to sort you out.

Paul

Hi,

I am sure that when I was at Trax a couple of years ago, the organisers provided the track users with nice shiny helmets!(ooeer!missus!)
