I'm thinking of buying a 300zx TT SWB (2 Seater). Is there anything to look out for? Thanks in advance.

Most of the SWB bits are the same as the 2+2, except obviously the interior trim and some of the drivetrain bits & panels.

I can't think of anything to look for especially on a SWB.

Basically a 2 seater ZX but much prettier, faster and pointier than those big 'ol 2+2 barges :D :D

Most that I have seen state either way (swb or 2+2)

if it's a t-top make sure the roofs are sound - no cracks in the glass or rotten anywhere.

 

Apparently they are like rocking horse sh*t and cost a fortune !!

 

Same with the rear glass - and probably all the other glass too but I may be wrong :D

Mines not officially for sale but if you want a modified swb and are happy to get the head gasket and gearbox (manual) fixed I am open to offers.

Is the head gasket EXPENSIVE to fix? Once it is fixed does it stay fixed or tend to go again?

 

I think that car is absolutley *?!X*!? beautiful! What kind of price does 'open for offers' mean? There are loads of mods, but how much does gearbox and head gasket cost? and what happened to knacker them?

 

I ask because I feel the tt pull. I don't know how long I can last in an NA, however nice a condition it's in...

I've seen a black H plate kicking around kidderminster a few times recently. Didn't get to see if it's a SWB or not though.

Yeah, That is a nice one, but £8,000. Might offer him £6500.;)

john im in tipton west mids but you wont have seen it yet as i only got it last week. i want to get the car checked out before i start to use it
