how do I add a pic of my Zed to my signature - since I've nearly got 500 posts?

Stick an appropriately sized pic in your rides section, then go to cp panel, edit profile and attach the pic there using the url of your rides section and the title of the pic

You can upload the image to your rides section and then add the following to your 'edit profile' signature

 

{img]http://rides.300zx.co.uk/rides/179/your_image_name_goes_here.jpg[/img]

 

You will need to change the 179 for your unique ride id, use the correct image name and change the { for [ at the beginning.

Do you want to use this image in your sig?

 

 

If so I would suggest reducing the size as it is too large for bandwidth and screen size.

Hi - still having problems.

1. Size of pic for sign.

2. Typed in the formula but as you can see it's just coming up with a red x on my sign.

By the look of it it could be the way you've done your signature...

 

Copy this paragraph into your signature.

Oh yeah, Geoff...

 

You need to upload your picture in a smaller format...

 

Easiest way is to get the original, open it in MS Paint, go to tools, skew and stretch, change numbers 100 to 50 on both fields, confirm and hey presto, all you need to do is save the file and upload it back to your rides section....

hi - i've done everything that's been suggested and still no luck.

At least I've reduced the pic size.

haha almost there, look me a mo to spot your mistakes lol

 

1. You are missing the dot between 300zx and co.uk

2. The file system (FreeBSD I think) is case sensitive, so you need to capitalise the dscf and jpg

 

It will work when you have done them.
