I have just had the most amazing quote from Bell Direct.

I'm 27, 4 years NCB, one fault accident.

My car is an import manual TT 2+2 tbar.

How does £730 fully comp sound? A bit of a bargain me thinks!

I've recently renewed with Carole Nash (http://www.carolenash.co.uk) on a classic policy - £350 all in. Limited to 4000 miles (I only drive it at weekends ), 34 years old with full NCB and 3 points from an SP30 in 2000. Only £150 excess and agreed value of £8000!

 

They didn't care about the points or my zorst...

PS. Norton weren't bad but they wanted a £550 excess!

Just rang Carole Nash for a classic car quote and they told me they don't insure any cars with mods:rolleyes: :confused:

 

Apart from Norton and Carole Nash, does anyone know of anyome else who does classic insurance?

In reply to John-boy's post, I have an induction kit on my zed and bell direct have just quoted me £485 - my renewal is due in a week and so far that's the best everyday user quote

 

Perhaps they don't take kindly to multiple mods?

 

Although they didn't mind the Azev wheels either but they are not performance related.

 

As for classic policies, you could try Footman James in Birmingham. They used to insure my Jaguar, I paid the princely sum of £95 fully comp (limited to 2000 miles PA) when I lived in London:D Sorry but I don't have their number anymore.

Heritage (classic only) 0121 246 6060. They are recomended by the Toyota Enthusiasts Club for Supras etc, so will probably adapt for a Zed
