I have fitted a centre brakelight!

My problem is, it did not come with bulbs. Will someone be kind to me & tell me where I can get the bulbs from!! (it is off a Z!)

Featured Replies

Bulb 501 it is called by most manufacturers, they are the little all glass ones that have no metal bit!

I think the bulb is a 12 volt 13 watt capless type.....i have 12 volt 5 watt capless ones in my centre brake light as I get them FOC from work and the local Nissan garage i deal with couldnt find them in their system....what a surprise.

Hi chaps

Got the bulbs £1.49 from halfords. My local Nissan could not find or have them listed!

Nice mover with great curves. What section in the manual is the female bit B19rks? Very nice.

Now whats the best way to wire the thing up? My loom appears not to have any conections for it!

I did ask this Q before!

Will someone tell me the best way to wire this up as my W/loom appears not to have a connection for a centre brake light.

Do I crimp onto my rear brake lights & place an in line fuse on the live side if so what size fuse 15amp?

Yes uk spec.

Thats why there is no loom, you only get the loom on a Jap spec.

You need to make your own:(and connect it to your brake light.
