I got a Nismo oil cap from a bloke/company called "trendgear" in the US on Ebay v cheap. Arrived at my house within 4 days, very impressed.

 

I usually have no worries about buying from the US as long as the seller has plenty of feedback :)

Just remember when ordrering from the state it's all the wrong way round.

 

A mate of mine bought a pillar pod from them and had two choices either have it on the drivers side with the dials facing towards the windscreen or fit it to the passenger side.

 

He sold it back to the yanks for a profit LMAO !!!

I have a concern about the shipping costs from the states to UK..

 

Just how much can I expect to pay :confused: :confused:

 

Really need some advice as some company is trying to charge me £42.63 for shipping!!!

 

Please advise.

Would depend on the method of shipping and how heavy the item is.

Shipping costs are usually fair but the heavier the

item the higher the price.

 

You could try asking for surface shipping for heavy items

but it/they will take a lot longer to arrive.

 

There comes a point when it's not economic to buy

from the 'States.

Looked at a set of front brake pads (Axxis Metal Master). I thought give it a try...

 

Don't really like the request though... Still awaiting feedback as sent an email saying I'd look at courier costs if he thinks I'm paying that!!
