Is there a definite answer to what 0-60 the auto 300tt does? Is it similar to the manual or not i.e. sub 6 seconds?

Featured Replies

Many reports vary, ive seen anything from 5.2 to about 6.8 me and my mate tried to time mine, bear in mind completley stock up a slight hill and it was about 5.5...... im happy enough with that.

Should be v.close to manual - although auto has smaller turbos (and in jap spec less power at 280 bhp compared to 300 for manual) the auto has more torque to compensate.

More torque benefits acceleration than more BHP.........

I read of a US based site that whilst manual may be faster to 60, the auto is faster to 100............

I'd go with b19rks' reply - seems close enough:)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

ok cheers just thought id ask as i had seen a few sites that stated 7 0-60 and that seamed slow.

I reckon theres two threads going on this topi!!!;)

7.1 is the time for the N/A I believe.

i raced a yellow TT auto the other day (wednesday, i think) and up to 100 there was little in it. Then my manual started to creep away, but the #'#;]'# limiter cut in at what im guessing to be around 125-130? any ideas?

Sounds like you have a Jap spec car, think you'll need new ECU.

Not prob in UK spec - not in mine anyway - will wizz up to 170 mph.
