CJ, it may be that you have a small compression leak from each of the cylinders, there for if you have 6 cylinders running at 80% you won't really notice it. if only one was running at 80% then you would notice it straight away.

 

However saying that, it's probably exhaust or inlet valves for some reason they tend to die at the same time where as pistons go one by one.

Has anyone got decent directions they can post up yet (to the place in Witham - not the cross-dressing thing)?

I know that Bob said Claire would sort me out, but I didn't realise he only meant with the directions :eek:

Good point... The RR is only about 6 miles up the road from SE, isn't it?

 

Are we all meeting at SE first? If not has anyone got directions to the RR place and if yes, can they post them here, please? :D

I got a letter from SE saying that directions to the RR place were enclosed. However, there was nothing! I'm not able to make it Saturday so directions to the RR venue would be good!

Bob said to me 8:30am meet at SE so we can convoy up there for 9am. I'm sure it'll all be OK. Just gotta direct my mate (coming from Sussex) to SE now! He'll have a nice early start ;)

 

Talking of SE... I stink of petrol and exhaust fumes and I can't stop grinning :D I don't wanna say too much til I get some photos tomorrow! Could well have Maccas car in the background ;)

 

Sorry if noone could get through on the phone in the afternoon... I was there, so everyone was running around throwing flowers at my feet and fanning me gently :) No seriously, they were all running around like chickens on fire. Kinda busy, ya know?! I think they'd probably prefer to postpone the rolling-road day for a couple of weeks so they can get more ready!

I'm a lazy git with quite a way to travel so there's no chance I'll make it to SE first!

 

Got the postcode for the rollers though if anyone else needs it to get directions off multimap - CM83DR, in Witham. Their number's 01376502522. It's only half a mile or so off the A12.

 

Are the magazine guys there all day ?
