Hi,

I am going to get some made up, what these alledgedly do is to improve the pedal feel on clutch take up, meant to help especially with upgraded clutches!

This offer is open to members only so if you want one join!!!!

I think my one cost me in the region of £40 after shipping and Vat, I should be able to get them made up for approxiamately a tenner and this will be plus P&P!

how long are these Mark, and what fittings do they have?

I've been wanting to replace the one on my s13 and bypass all the damper valve shit for ages and go straight from the master to the slave cylinder.

Hi Jez

These are about 11inches long, a 90 degree banjo fitting one and a female the other!

If you send me your old clutch line I can get one made up for you?

  • Author

OK Andy,

Jezz if you are making something up that is custom, tell me what you want and I will see if they make it!

Mark

Did you bypass that stupid bleed point on the inner wing and go straight from master cylinder to slave?

Hi Paul,

No I don't know of that Mod and I think it would complicate matters as I think some zeds don't have that bleed point, and I wouldn't know how to bypass it anyway:confused:

Hey Mark,

How many Zeds to you have now?

Thanks for loaning my that battery charger.

Has the guy who bought my Zed ever called you?

Life if good in the USA. My email still works, and pics of the house and stuff are at http://pics.2ward.com .

Hope things are well with all the Zeds in the UK!

Ok Mark cheers,

I'll get measuring and work out what I need today & let you know, it's nothing complicated though.

Count me in for one.

Jezz s13 for some S13 mutilsation, it might be easier Jez if you send me the actual fittings and tell me how long you want it?

Hi Bruce how you doing?

Good to hear from you, are you on MSN we will have to have a chat?

YHPM mark.

which part of the clutch line is this? (scuse my ignorance) any help with the feel of a twin plate HKS will be grateful :D

I think it's the stainless steel version of the one I sent u.

Hi Jaffa,

It is the section that goes to the slave cylinder!

It is meant to give you more feel on the uptake, so that it reduces the vagueness of take up!

I haven't tried it but it seems like I can get it made up a lot cheaper than buying an aftermarket version, and for a tenner that is a quarter of a tank of fuel!

If it'll improve the feel of ACT Clutches as well, count me in! :)

Not too bad, you have to jack the car up disconnect the old one two bolts, connect the new one and then bleed the system!

Someone say if it is any more involved than that!

in, how long will it take though - just need to know if it's worth fitting the one vijay very kindly sent me (didn't know about this at the time) as my current one is leaking slowly

Hi Jaffa, there is nothing special about the group buy!

I have the aftermarket part sent to me from America and I now know the fitments, I am taking it along to think automotive who give me trade prices and getting them to copy the aftermarket part!

If you took off your old clutch line and did some ringing around you will probably find a Local firm who would make up the line in S/steel for you?

Or you wanted to travel over to think automotive, or just post them the old line and get them to send you the new one!

I thought it might be a nice gesture to get these things made up for people while I have the oppurtunity!

I going to have to give a great big apology to you all, went to think automotive today and the price to have them made up will be more expensive than I thought!

He is still willing to give us a deal on a group buy though!
