Who is up for an event such as this? I am having brochures sent through and am prepared to organise it. It would need to be after mid-october as they are booked until then.

 

Once I have a number of people and the brochure I'll get the price and post up some possible times we can attend.

Yep, I'm up for this .. raced at Buckmore a few times (don't worry, I'm shite - too fat) - but it's superb .. not cheap, but superb .. :D

 

Karts do do 70mph-ish too .. fookin superb :)

give me a few days, I have brochures, we are gonna have to wait a while though as its fully booked until next year.

 

Cost will be £65 for 1.5hours (not 1.5 hours on the track though) that includes 3 races.

 

Ill post up the details in next few days

They do this at the Three Sisters race track in Wigan. They have enduarance races for 4 hours and also have an hours practice and 15 mins qualifying. You have to do it in teams as you would get knackered doing it all yourslef and it would be expensive.

 

Here are a few pics of the action from a few days ago to help you make your minds up. Its well worth doing. :D There where close to 30 Karts on the track this day so there was always someone you had to defend overtaking you, try to over take or dodge people who spin out.

Mike Endurance racing may be the key to this one.

Do they do that there. That way we could have a fair few teams of three. Maybe we should all chuck in an extra £2 and get a trophy for the winners. :D

An endurance one is DEF the one to do!!! I did this last year and it was EXCELLENT!! Alot better than heats and finals type thing.

Stu - the place I went to included trophies and shields etc in the cost! It was BRILLIANT. I can find out more if anyone wants? Of if Mike's place doesn't do the endurance thing.

This one does too I think. But there are pro drivers with their own karts and then the ones who hire out the tracks on. There is a trophy for each.

They only run the 4hr event, 4 times a year, the 2 hr events are more often (at three sisters like)

yes im useless, ill get the info together this week hopefully, lot going on atm with a new gf and a heavy work load.

Mike, the SUPRAperior car owners are organising a Buckmore nite, why not combine the two? Justin from TorqueIC (B1SEP) is running ours.
