Got back to the motor yesterday to find my passanger wing mirror on the floor, just ripped/kicked/punched off- Am not a happy bunny at the moment!

 

Luckily I found out who did it, so I had the very nice pleasure of going round to his house and 'having a little friendly chat'!! - He managed to see the light and he's going to pay for it to be fixed, which we both agreed was much better than him having his head kicked in by me.

 

The trouble is it's a jap model which I've been told has a small heater built in that turns on when you activate the rear window heater (although I could be wrong!) as well as being able to electronically retract.

 

Does anybody know where I could get one? Nissan have told me that they could source one, but I'm worried that it will only be UK spec ie without the built-in heater.

 

I have still got the mirror but it's obviously been sheared right off so may be impossible to get the parts to fix it without having to order the whole mirror

 

Can anybody help at all?

ive got a jap import and im pretty certain that the mirrors arent heated.

 

any way,if you cant use a UK spec one for some other reason then try mike feeney at MJP autos, i think he can get hold of import stuff but im not certain.

ther eis a heater in the jap models (at least in mine) activated by the heated rear screen button.

 

My view on this? make him pay for it, then go back and knee cap the sod

The Wing mirror is Charcoal Grey- should be quite a few ZXs out there in that colour I would have thought.

 

The guy that kicked the mirror in is quite big, but I'm bigger!

 

Not a bad idea that- Let him pay for the mirror first and then afterwards kick seven shades of sh*te out of him!! I Like.

u sure he's gonna pay up ? it could cost a fair bit to sort that.

Yeah tell me about it- haven't spoken to Nissan yet - Do you guys and Gals think they will 'Quote me Happy'? Lol!
