I'm in the arket for a Z and I've been doing the rounds on this site, great info, however I was wondering if there was anyone close who would mind my poping round for a chat, beer and perhaps a go in their car - please

 

I realsie that is't a very controversial subject but I am tryijg to decide between a GTO and 300ZX I drove a GTO last night. A very friendly chap who lives just round the corner from me took me out man they are fast!

 

So I'd like to try a Z, didn't want to bother a private sale and dealers anr very cagey, Jap city ex Ram city motors don't let you drive them unless you've talked a deal.

 

Promise not to prang it.

OK so I didn't spell/sense check it first - tried to edit it but the site won't let me.

Yu can tell it's a bad day, I am looking for a Twin Turbo manual but am very interested why so many or you are keen on autos.

I'd like to try both manual and auto if poss but both TT's please

Sorry mate - didn't understand your last comment about Auto/Manual but I am from the Derby area. Would be happy to take you for a spin in mine.

 

I hope I can sway you away from the ugly GT-Toad-3000. Can meet tonight or tomorrow if you like. Roads might be a bit quieter tonight or even Sunday!

The 300ZX is def the one for me. Excellent.

 

Wifes not too sure about the white, think I'll stick out for a Red Z.

Good choice on the colour!!!

 

I thought about a GTO before getting my second zed, but when i loooked at one i realised that i didnt like em!!!

 

If you want a look at a red one feel free to look me up if your around the Nuneaton area, but its not for sale though!!!

 

You can look me up if you find one down this way and want another pair of eyes to look over it.

Hi Glenn,

 

Have a nice L.Reg UK spec series 2 with manual gearbox for sale , presently having a 99 spec bumper fitted and the wings realigned and painted to suit (previous owner had new ones fitted very badly??) low mileage and will have a full warranty.

Should be ready end of next week.

I met you and Cos today and have just read this post. I thought you was looking to buy Cos's Zed....but was in actual fact looking to test drive for comparison. You are welcome to test drive mine if you like-it's an auto TT. If you want to test drive it let me know.

 

I'm sorting out the heater matrix tomorrow and will be going to Leeds and will return late sunday night and then I'm off to scotland for a week on wednesday. So, either monday or tuesday for this coming week or on my return from scotland, 28/8/03.

 

I'm glad you enjoyed the drive in Cos's Z and have been enlightened in the way of the Zed:D

I'm looking for a Red UK series 2 manual with leather, low mileage full service history that loks like its been loked after well, ( And there goes another pig if I find one) Blue's not really my colour. but I knoe where you are.

Hi I didn't know Cos might be selling his, it's a really nice motor,

I was just looking to meet some knowledgable people and try out a Z to compart with a GTO, no comparison in my books the Z wins hands down.

 

I'm off to see a red one down london tomorrow!! and really looking for a manual, but I'll be in touch and thenks for the offer.

Sounds great, missed the bubble meet on Sunday had an MX5 meet!, yea the wife has one.

 

I'd be up for a meet, any suggestions as to location, needts to be near a pub!!!

 

I met Cos at the markeaton Mac Dees and we ended up at the Kings highway off kingsway.

 

But hay anywhere's good.
