Hi ya thanks matey for the parts disc but need help with loading.Found fast for window by right clicking F/ disc then followed instructions and all seemed ok, but when clicking short cuts from menu for fast parts etc nothing happens, checked short cot targets all in place did find a few corrupted looking files so have deinstalled it all and await further instructions help anyone. Ok, I've had a few emails from others that couldn't get it to work either.

 

I send them my (working) ini-files, which seems to solve the problem.

Hopefully it'll solve your problems as well.

Save and copy these two files to your windows-directory:

NSFASTKY.INI

NSFASTW.INI

 

After copying the files run "fast setup" from the startmenu again, and make sure the path to your CD is correct. (to the root of your CD)

 

if it still doesn't work, download this zip-file: http://300zx.twinturbo.com/temp/nissan.zip

Extract it to the root of your C-drive and run "fast-setup" from the start-menu again.

I had a bit of trouble too. After e-mailing Eric loads of times I finally got it to work. The easiest thig to do is copy all the files from the CD to c:\NISSAN and then change all the paths in the setup to c:\NISSAN. Then it worked. I also had problems when it showed the illustrations which ended up with having to change the resolution.

I messed around with this for ages and finally with Eric's help got it working. It turned out that only the EL (European LHD) option seems to work. I had chosen ER.

 

I was thinking of making a 'run from CD version' but I think it would depend upon everyone having a CD with the same drive letter and then there are different OS issues too - I always use W2K.
