Read past threads on catch tanks but all seem to be TT related, will this benefit an NA or are the benefits more for track days etc....

 

 

Alright Mac, well in a word "No" i have considered it a few times as we have made some stonking catch tanks for a number of different cars, sure Jezz can agree on that and i've always fitted one in previous modded tubo'd cars i've had.

After Mark Brand had his problems last year at the Max power show i decided to go for it until i realised there's no fooking room in the engine bay even though Cusco list a kit for our car it's picture and details are the same as all the other kits for nissan's and these are about 7inches high and 2.5inch diameter, so dunno where are earth they think it will go.

If someone can figure out where to fit the bugger and tell me which exactly are the breather pipes that would be fed into it, then no probs we'll do one to suit as i certainly would be having one meself

Did you finally make or fit one and will they work on an NA.

 

If you have made before, maybe this is what you could use the left over stainless for from the slam panels....

Bloomin ech, i know my guy can sometimes do magical things, but i very much doubt he can make flat metal stainless sheet become

a tube :D

No i ain't done one cos i've never seen one in a Zed engine yet that would tell me where to fit it, once i do, then who knows.

As for N/A cars, always had turbo's, so maybe duffers may know.

Lymon has a catch tank fitted to his N/A he says it is a good mod;)

scuse my stupidity here....but a catch tank for what?

 

And if it is 71/2 inch high and 21/2 in diameter, it might fit in the space where you take the AIVs from , or the plastic tank that you take out the wing??
