Hi,

I am stuck between a 300ZX and a 3000GTO and wondered if anyone has had both and can constructively comment on which one they prefer and why - Thanks G.

Amazing that it's even close though, when you consider the Skyline is two cylinders and one litre short of a proper engine. :-)

I think they're so ugly they've gone full circle and they're sexy again...

And as for going round corners, well, take a look at this! (1.5MB of video)

By that standard, the Z is also two cylinders and 0.1L short of being a proper engine then.... :)

that skyline is a 4 door GTS model which is RWD so will probably corner worse than a zed anyway.

Round corners though, thats a completely different matter.

thats almost 1/2 a second quicker than a stock zed!!

In reply to the 300ZX 'V' 3000GTO question, a mate of mine owns a 3000GTO & said to my brother that he thought that I had got the better car (i.e. 300ZX) ;)

? Autocar tested the R34 GTR in 1999 and recorded 0-60mph in 4.6secs...0-100mph in10.8secs and limited 156mph top speed.

Can your Z reach 100 in 10.8secs...I don't think so!:D

BTW I quite like the styling of the GTO and RX7 and Skyline and Fairlady. They all each appeal to their individual owners.

Hey pork928 are you that numb lad who was origionaly 'porker' or are you a new one.

If you are the origional then you have some competition now mate, we have attracted some bigger fools than you since you left (got banned) so you will have to be on top form.

Ah-ha I'd agree with you if you were right.

;)

Four wheel drive does not make a car go round corners fast in good conditions, only in poor. And I did not know my Z was so fast.

But hold on Sraae said it, so must be right.......As if.

4wheel drive does make a car faster even in good conditions if it is set up for it.

Ask BMW about the M3 vs New Audi RS6.
