After being in an interesting position trying to get the fuse out for my cd changer..... (in Halfords car park...mmmm) wellI was in a short skirt... Thanks John for telling me where to look.:D

I change the fuse, cd player back to life woohoo,

It's blown again, only after a few days,so me thinks...somit wrong here..

any suggestions, I have another 2 spare 10a fuses, I know they don't cost much (probably the only thing on a zed that doesn't!):D , no point in putting them in again,

driving a zed with no music is not as much fun:(

has it blown the fuse in the fuse box in the car or the inline fuse behind the radio?

if the fuse in the cars fuse box has blown then you my need to find out what else is running off that fuse. With the fuse out see what dose not work in the car the fault my be with one of these things, if not you my have a fault with the radio is it a standard one or been replaced? check its wiring, if that is ok disconnect the radio and put the fuse back in then see if it goes again if not the fault is in your radio.

All the best sid:D

Emero, have you got anything else attached to the stereo cage, ie relay for foglights, something to do with the alarm etc?? as it could be something like that playing up thus upsetting the stereo.

Also is the stereo earthed to the car body ok?

Good Luck

Emero,

If you still havent managed to resolve it by the time you read this, give me a call on 07973 539020 as Im about 5mins away or PM me,Ill be around over the weekend and most of Friday.
