sorry m8ty street racing and doughnuts is all i do at the mo. not yet ready for the track until next year

 

I managed 14.6 98 mph in a standard TT about a month ago, left my roofs at home to save a bit of weight, don't know if it help.

My best is a 14.2 with (I suspect) the start of gearbox probs. Mods are as per my site (www.davehairs.freeserve.co.uk) apart from the rebuilt gearbox !!!

 

The 14.2 was done at Santa Pod. I've had various times at Northweald Aerodrome with terminal speeds as high as 120 mph - which cannot be true ! Steve E has similar lack of trust in the Northweald timing gear.

 

Once my new gearbox is worn in nicely, I'll see what I can do ...

14.7 @ 98mph stock

14.1 @ 106mph stage 3 massive wheelspin (our track is very slippery)

Solid Alloy Subframe Bushings

Nitto NT555R drag radials

All waiting on a new clutch!!!

 

Also driven a 12.1 @ 115mph in my mates T28 Equipped NOS sucking 2+2 Auto

Something like 15.1 or 14.8 I think... that was about 5 years ago, 100% stock, loads of wheel spin and I remember crunching the gears, mmm, I wonder what made my gear box go.

 

I think I'll get at least another second once I've cleaned all that crap off the engine bay!

 

Hmmmm, there must be somthing "Wrong" with mine. I've mannaged to do 13.6, and 13.8.

 

And from what I can tell it's STOCK-

 

lol i saw a guy run 12.5 up here in johannesburg on friday night , we are at altiyude of 1500 metres and his car was stage 3 , he got hardly any wheelspin and he went through at 106 mph.

so there is hope lol.

but im sure the trap speed was wrong for the kilometre it was something like 165mph. lol
