My valuation was before you told me it was scratched Pete!!

Now come on.........be fair.

:o Ok I'll take 29p for a quick sale...

EDIT - Since Stu has pointed out the rarity of an 8mm bolt on a zed - I'll be asking for 36p, thanks :)

Have you had it since new? i.e. Is it just second hand or third hand or what..............

Has an impact on resale value!!!

Simon:D :D

Hmmm not sure, the nut has got a sketchy service history but is faultless in its performance ;) The history says it had a nut+bolt rebuild in 1995.

Apart from the scratch (looks like it has been dropped, and rolled along a little bit) it is top notch.

Any pics, please ask ;)

:D

I'm interested, I really am.

But I do need to know the distance it "rolled along a bit" please.

Hard to say  - from the slight markings I think it maybe rolled about 40-50cm. Then it landed on the left hand side.

It was retrieved from next to a 19mm socket, if that is important, it says in the history.

Has this been certified as a nut by the Ministry of Nuts ?

y not put it on ebay ??:D

  • Author

Ok James let me know :)

I can get it certified for an extra 4p Nelson, are you interested?

Here are a couple of pics, shortly after the rebuild in 95:

that's 1 sweet nut - but I need verification before coughing up my spare change

has it had regular oil changes ?

  • Author

Nelson - it has has oil changes every 8 turns, but did have a leak in 2000, which was fixed soon after:

HTH

Pete

I still wanna see a singed certificate from said Ministry of Nuts

If it was rolled, was it a right off? if so what category? You havent got a cut'n'shut nut there?

I think you're right to wait Nelson, there are plenty of nuts out there (and in here) with a full history

I tried to singe it, but the whole thing went up in flames ;)

  • 5 months later...

Pete, that's actually rolling clockwise in the picture - have you got the LHD version by mistake?! Best be careful, directional tread on these things you know...

LOL I think the picture is taken from the wrong side, or something

Let me ring Nuttrader and find out...

Are there any performance gains with this nut?

I would like to see dyno runs with the nut on and off. I want to see actual usable horse power and not horse power at the nut.
