Want to order some braided fuel hose today. Can someone just tell me what diameter I need or does it only come in one diameter.

Thanks.

8mm or 5/16". Make sure it's high pressure hose (~100psi min), although if it's braided it probably is.

Hi there,

I really would only advise you buy Nissan hose, unless you are 110% sure of what you are doing!

I had some fuel hose replaced many years ago, with some strong braided hose, but it still wasn't strong enough. After a few weeks you could see a bulge where it would have bust eventually.

You must check out a manual to see what sort of pressure the system is running before replacing the hose!

be carefull!

Jez.

Fuel pressure is 45 psi :)

before boost or after boost?

I have high pressure 8mm stainless braided hose, think it's rated at 250psi, got it from bsr-aerotek. They also do a lower pressure one with a thinner wall but still adequate.

LOL 45 psi above manifold pressure so max would be 45+whatever boost you are running. Dunno what the pressure is from the pump though at 12v. 250psi stuff would be fine LOL
