I want to change the steering wheel of my z. Where and how do I relocate the cruise control buttons. Any ideas?

Have you found a new wheel yet? I'm thinking of doing this too - I've got too many knees and not enough footwell when driving hard...

No, I haven't. But I know its been done. I so an article in Performance Japanese mag featuring a red zed that has done it.

TonyC mine when he had it, and did an excellent job :) - give him a PM. Haven't got any pics here sorry.

You'll need a special boss (adapter) to mate an aftermarket wheel with the Z's steering column.. It's got to be a special one because of the HICAS disc that sits behind the wheel.

 

I believe Taka Kaira in Japan sell a few (one that keeps HICAS, one that keeps cruise etc) - not cheap, but try looking here.

 

Once you've got that, you should be able to fit any wheel to it (Momo etc)
