Cully,

Had the same problem with mine when I took the front to bits a month or 2 back. Must have been a whole copy of the Daily Star in there.

Interested to see what other people have got at the Billing show then will knock something together.

I pretend to work, they pretend to pay me!

get yourself down homebase/ B&Q or the like, buy yourself a sheet of their stainless mesh and affix at will. If you but the "proper stuff" it will cost you the head of your first born :D

HTH

Harry Halfords sell packs of aluminium (I think) mesh at not too bad prices. 'Least, they used to - I got some quite a while back after I got my Scarab nose, but I've never got around to having the stuff fitted :)

I saw the mesh at Halfords today.

They do it in round or diamond style at £19.99 for a piece about 1m x 0.5m ish

I am not an airflow expert or anything, but I think you would be surprised just how much air flow some "mesh" stops. I have heard that some act almost as if they are solid.

That is why you should have the pukka stainless wire stuff, rather than the pressed aluminium stuff. However, more expensive and much harder to work ....

Is this the Mesh you are after?

I have this for a 'project' I was thinking about (but not yet progressed), although originally thought I would use it on the Z.

You can contact NeedForSpeed - be warned the price excludes VAT & postage.

I'm open to offers (location: Kingston), but not fussed about selling it, as I will most probably will use it. Somebody mentioned it is the same/similar as fitted to the UK Bentley - it is good stuff.

More to the point how the Bloody Hell do you fix the stuff to the back of a front spoiler that looks like it's been used for off-roading for the last 10 years.

Harry Halfords did it for me, managed to get a reasonable fit without any permanent fixing. Never moved until motorway trip and then realised how my new 18" alloys could have had some rather nicely slashed tyres had that come off, which it nearly did!!!!

Sealant / Rivots / Sticky Back Plastic ??????????

I havent tried it but id give no more nails a go, that stuff will stick sh1t to a ceiling!!!:D

LOL my dad said I should use that but I'd rather do it properly!

Why would you want to stick sh1t to the ceiling though? :D

Rather than No MOre Nails, use a product called Grip Fill. it is far better, but a similar product, came out before NMN and is more "trade". End of story.
