DOH !!!!!!. Right just for that you are only getting one and a half coil pack connector looms ;) :D

I don't want to change a TT one, because I modify quite a lot in my car, I have been ask luke in the zcentre, he also advice me to change a TT one, can I fit a supercharge?I got NOS alreadly..so.

is that easy to fit a Turbo?

No it is not easy to fit a turbo!

It will cost you in excess of two-three grand to do it!

But you can tune your NA to nearly turbo performance, if you fit a

Air intake

Exhaust

uprate your cams

tubular manifolds

Jim wolf chip

If you talk to mike feeney on the Z forum, I believe he has done it or knows how to get you there!

But to be honest you will not be far away on the cost of TT'ing anyway!

I've turboed my NA, but it's far from easy and requires engine removal.

It is possible without internally modifying the engine, but you'll

need LOTS of parts from a TT (turbos, intercoolers, injectors, intake piping, several engine parts) and a custom programmed ECU/EPROM.

My "NA" now has 340 hp at the wheels at 0.7 bar of boost and virtually no turbolag compared to a TT.

But you'll have to live with the fact that after you've done this "mod" you have reached the end of what is possible with the NA engine (powerwise)

Running over 0.7bar requires TT pistons (or better) and TT heads, so you might as well drop in a complete TT engine.

There are also supercharged NA's.

The airconpump is then replaced by a charger and it requires a lot of custom piping. (you'll also need larger injectors, an intercooler and customized ECU), but you'll run into the same problem that the engine won't be able to stand over 0.7 bar boost.

As you can probably see it's far from cost effective to upgrade your NA like this.

I did it mostly to see if it was at all possible and because I happened to have a wrecked TT lying around ;)

If you have an automatic NA, forget about the idea completely or convert the car to a manual first.

Otherwise you'll blow the A/T gearbox to bits within 200 miles.

Here is what I guy on tt.net write about it

1. It IS possible and has been done.

2. It's NOT easy.

3. It's NOT cheap.

4. It's much less economical than selling the NA and buying a TT, especially if you're not doing the work yourself.

5. To do it effectively, it's a good bet to have a spare wrecked TT around to pilfer parts from.

Parts needed

01. Engine

02. Transmission

03. EGI Harness

04. Intercoolers

05. All the intercooler piping*

06. Fuel pump

07. Oil cooler

08. Radiator**

09. ECU

10. Front bumper

11. Clutch

12. Vacuum assit stuff for the clutch

13. Exhaust system

14. Clutch pedal

15. And a variety of sensors and actuators

16. Main Engine Room harness

Notes:

* - The intercooler piping is a bitch to get in because the openings to pass the pipes are not on the NA frame. You will have to do a lot of cutting and grinding to get the piping and intercoolers mounted properly.

** - When it came time for me to install the radiator, I couldn't get the stock TT radiator to fit between the intercooler pipes. SO I ordered an aluminum radiator from Griffin that wasn't as wide, but was taller and thicker. I also had to run an electric fan beause I could no longer use stock fan and fan shrowd.
