I hope you guys know what I'm talking about cos some Nissan garages don't. I'm talking about the plastic engine undercarriage which seems to be in 4 parts. I want to get them changed (I've got the chance to do it through insurance) and when I ask Nissan parts departments, some say that dont know what it is and some say there is just one part. Can anyone confirm if it would come in 4 parts and the where I could get the part numbers, I've looked in the manual and on TT.net/fiche, but can't seem to find them.

Cheers

I know what you mean Vijay, I had to replace it on my Supra after going over a car park stickey uppy type thing.

On my Supra it was a one piece design though, not sure about the Z beast. Surely someone can have a look underneath their car for ya! And don't call me Shirley! LOL!

;-)

Vijay, the big cover under the front of the engine (one big single piece of plastic) is called the "lower engine-cover" in my Nissan Parts manual.

Partnr. 75831-30P00

the lower-cover that is under the frontbumper is called the "lower front-cover"

partnr. 75892-37P00

the cover that is right under the air-intake (aka splash guard) is called the "air-guide"

partnr. 92116-30P00

Hope this helps,

Eric

Eric,

Is there not 2 more parts. 1 either side?

btw, where did you find the part numbers?

Vijay

No, it's one big piece of plastic with two upstanding pieces on either side.

I have a copy of an official Nissan parts-CD (the same one they're using at Nissan dealerships in Europe)

It's very handy, with clear drawings and a search feature.

I personally find it much better then the fiches on tt.net

If you like I can make a copy of it and send it to someone in the UK (any volunteers with a CD-burner ?)

So he/she can further distribute it among other members in the UK that are interested in the CD..

-Eric

I could do a few of those for anyone who is interested (within reason!)

Thanks for the help Eric,

Yeah, no problem, if Andyp wants to do it, if not I'll do it.

Cheers

Vijay

I'd be interested in a copy if thats ok - would it be possible to get some done for JAE next weekend - just seems like a good opportunity to distribute them smile.gif

I have big fast CDRW and stacks of CDR (nice owning your own computer shop smile.gif )

If you send me a copy I'll run off, say 50, and bring em with me to JAE and anyone with a Z can have one, free, gratis, pint of beer stylee smile.gif

Let me know and I'll mail you my addy.

Cool
