Hi all,

 

I changed my rear shocks and springs today but one side seams higher than the other?? I have the front shocks to do next but can anyone suggest what might cause this? A mate thought it might be the rubber mounting that the spring sits into............

you got the wrong spring on one side?

check you have the cups on the shock the right way up.

Leave it a day or two to settle before you worry too much !

 

Changed my Lancia on Koni shocks and hardened springs many many years ago and it took a couple of days to settle down to the correct ride height - the gap under the arches make it look like a Fiat Panda for a while ! :D

Nope, I checked it on a flat surface (no camber).

The springs were the same and I'm sure the front's wouldn't fit on the rear shocks. The rubber cups are defininetly on the right way.

There's no way Vijay would have got those mixed up as he used my car for practice last week! :D

nope, they were a pia cos I had no one to stand on the hub :( just got the fronts to do now........................
