Whats the best colour for a 300ZX? Does the Red fade and are there any rust problems?

 

Again I'm new to this my current car is a Cavalier 2ltr with 190bhp I look forward to the 300ZX TT Manual if any good cheap ones exist

i think colour is the least of your worries, just make sure u get a good one with a decent engine box turbos etc, painting the car is much cheaper than an engine rebuild, mine is red and has suffered a little fading, i gave it a polish at the weekend, and its coming up nice, a few more and should be able to see my face in it :D

I had a red RX7 before my z and had to polish it every month, it faded bad in the sun! I love silver Z's, i was gonna get one untill i saw this ( see atachment) and had to buy it! Loadsa ppl ask me what it is lol!

Has got to be red, true sports car colour!;)

Red doesn't have to fade, if treated properly. My last Zed was in excellent condition and still a deep shade of red with not a hint of fade. :)

 

One I've got now is black, so I would say that the best colour for a Zed is Rack, or Bled. ;)

grey all the way lads, mines has black windows, platinum toora alloys, jap cans is red the most popular colour or black? no offence intended just curious?

Which one you prefer is down to personal taste.......but as Paul C has already said....BLUE is the best and rarest colour for a Z!!!:rolleyes: :D :D ;)

Red (my first Z) has got to be the colour to have! My current Z is grey and I'm not quite as happy with it as I was the first one... A little bit too understated :(

 

Must agree with Markyb300 tho, his bayside blue respray looks the nuts! :D :D :D
