Looks OKish...

About a foot into each side of the car you have 2 beams that are about 3inches wide. At the front of each you can see they're a little thicker and reinforced, that's where i put my stands, im pretty sure its the official place.

Depending on the angle of the car, u might want 2 bits of wood under both of the rear wheels! :)

Cheers bud, I'll give that a go next time, would of been more difficult this time as i was crawling around under there getting the splash guards on and off.

Looks that way, That must be the Kwick Fit one then!!! Then again they prefere to use the softer bits of the car instead!

is it only me who has two aluminium chocks in the jack compartment in the boot?

No.

You are meant to have them along with a tool kit, jack and tyre iron.

I jack my car up off the rear diff.

Its not a zx mind you, so maybe the zx rear diff is soft. Mines hard as nails - big metal nails

I just wanted to say that I liked the colour of the garage floor paint!

I have no idea where to jack the car from and my driveway is a bit like a scale model of the moon surface, so I can't jack the car safely at all.

Still, very nice paint!

Is it me or is the garage jack point on the rear diff?

Yep, that's what the manual says, done it a few times from there and no problems.

My brother did it to put his MR2 in there, then I got the Zed so I took it over!!
