Does anybody have an RPS Single disc Carbon Carbon Clutch fitted to their Z? I am thinking of getting one as my clutch is knacked and I would of fitted a lightweight flywheel at the same time anyway. (Well that justified the cost to my other half, NOT!)

What are they like for everyay driving and what is wear like?

Cheers

Paul

Supposed to be very good from what I've heard - although as usual there seems to be mixed opinions on TTnet lol. If you are getting one let me know - we can bump the order up to 2 ;)

CheerZ,

i got the RPS street disc clutch set & fidanza flywheel - nice bits of kit :)

the flywheel didnt make quite as much difference to performance as some have claimed, but did seem to pick up better low - mid range - also no change in drivability at all IMO.

got mine from Smithy BTW.

Completely different class of kit m8 ;) These beuties hold masses of torque AND are almost stock like in driveability - best of both worlds.... oh and they last aaaaaages :D

im not putting out enough power to need anything more.

just saying they were well made bits really :)

Does anybody actually know how long they last against the stock clutch in "Real Life"?

Paul

Paul, the full carbon RPS clutch is reasonably new compared to the rest of the entire RPS range, so doubt anyone can give advice on it, as for wear rates then that is totally dependant on yer power and how hard you drive it.

Have sold dozens of the RPS sport street and Max kits so if you want any further help on one, feel free to mail me.

BTW a lot really depends on both your present and future expected power output as the sport street kit is totally stock feel, but capable of holding power of over 500 pounds of torque.

cheers
