Got a bad water leak which I'm trying to fix today. It appears to be a pipe from the driver's side turbo. It comes from a vertical metal pipe and bends round to underneath the plenum.

I've removed all the extraneous sh1t from around it but I'm still struggling to get at the end underneath the plenum. There's still a pipe in the way stopping me getting to my pipe. It's about an inch in diameter and I'm going to have to shift it first. However, it doesn't appear to want to budge.

Anyone any idea what it is, how to get it off, etc?

Any help very much appreciated.

Cheers

Mike

B*astard of a job! Not sure what pipe is in the way BUT get a pair of long nosed 45 degree bent pliers! Not sure what they called but they are about 15" long and make the whole job easy ish! Still loose most the skin off your knuckles though!

B*astard of a job?! To fuc4ing right!

Ended up taking half the car apart in the end. I've now managed to get the pipe off and I'm going to try to put the new one on tomorrow. Then I'll have to see if I can remember where all the bits went.

Thanks for the advice Roy, bought some of those pliers and they worked a treat. By the way, I've seen your photo. Can I borrow some of that excess skin as I appear to have none left on my hands?!

Shouldn't that be "can one borrow some of ones skin". LOL
